ML100 Neighborhoods: Debbie
Debbie has heard from 9 out of the 22 neighborhoods, to date, regarding their name and mascot. There has been some concern from residents that they have not heard from their neighborhood rep yet.
Recommendations to address this concern:
1. Reinforce the idea that the goal is fun, and to keep it simple
2. Plan another meeting with the liaisons
3. Consider more publicity for upcoming dates/activities
4. Send out a “Constant Contact” message
5. Develop a communication plan to keep events on the radar screen
Neighborhoods can develop a page on our website and set-up a display at the kick-off event. Jane will discuss this with the kick-off committee.
ML Production:
Laurel Durenberger has completed a first draft of the production and is working on a media team to put together pictures that match the script. In addition, she is requesting funding to film the event. She is requesting assistance in forming a “production team”. Stephanie will check with Mike Brant and also the volunteers on our website.
A committee meeting is set for 10/18, 1:00 at the ML Market.
Art Show- Nov 2011:
We hope to create an art show in conjunction with the production at the high school, using both the gallery and the hallways. Stephanie will contact the resident who offered to assist with an art display on our website. Kris will follow-up with the high school after Stephanie’s contact. FOTA will also be included in the planning.
