The early residents will all remember with pleasure the Clam Back held that first summer back of Mr. Luellen’s house, the only cleared space in the Community. With long boarded tables and Japanese lanterns and plenty of roast corn and clams, we had a pleasant gathering and the faces of many who are now gone rise up in our memories of the thought of it.
