By ml100, June 15, 2010 3:04 am

The Limited Editions are available for sale at the Mountain Lakes Library. Books are $75 (plus $6 if you need shipping – see details below).

The Mountain Lakes Centennial History is a beautiful, elegant, readable book boasting more than 200 pages of historic photos (many previously unpublished), plus a fascinating written history of our town.

The book tells the compelling story – in words, photographs and documents – of an extraordinary town and how its founder, pioneering residents and succeeding generations turned Mountain Lakes from a desolate construction site into the beautiful, prosperous place it is today.

It’s kinda hard to order by June 30 when you get the email on July 1. Still, I’ll order one of the author-signed books. Do you take Paypal, or how else do I go about this? Do I send $60 or $75?

    What a wonderful Centennial logo.

  3. I totally agree – it’s a great logo. Do you mind if we put a small copy in our Class of 1960 50th Reunion “yearbook?” We can point the readers to the historical pages on your website (have already urged classmates to fill out the email survey, it was fun to do!) Andy, if you are reading this – I paid $80, just to get the book mailed to me, not a signed copy. I don’t regret it. But I wish I could get an acknowledgment that my check was received! By the way, our class has a website – would love to hear from you.

I ordered 2 books in June. When will they be ready for delivery. I thought they’d be here in time to give as gifts.

They just arrived. They can be picked up at the Mountain Lakes library this Saturday from 1-5pm!

I am so anxious to order the Centennial History of ML for myself and my brother. We lived in ML in the 50′s. But your order form does not include the book? ! ? How do I get one sent to me and as a gift to my brother. HELP. I don’t want to miss out.
